Fire simulation: representation of a fat explosion.
The crucible of the KriBa® Fat Fire is firmly locked onto the KriBa® Wastebasket, which here serves as the module support, and filled with 200 ml of vegetable oil. The container is then fired at the full power of the pilot burner until the ignition temperature is reached after about five minutes. The crucible is flamed further for a short time until the fat explosion begins from a safe distance with the gentle pull of the steel cable. The water enters the burning fat via the tilting mechanism; with the abrupt expansion of the water vapor, an impressive column of fire forms.
